About the Oil: 100% pure organic pine essential oil. Like many of the 'needle' oils, pine is stimulating. This is the classic uplifting pine aroma, enjoyed by many. Can be used therapeutically for healing from fatigue. Pine is also excellent for use in a diffuser, alone or with other needle oils, to enliven any atmosphere.

Pine essential oil has antiseptic properties and is noted of particular importance by Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt, in "Advanced Aromatherapy", as a perfect diffuser oil for cases of bronchial infection.

Battaglia notes in The Complete Book of Aromatherapy that "Pine needle oil is extensively used in pharmaceutical preparations for cough and cold medicines, vaporizing fluids, nasal decongestants, and analgesic ointments." Pine is mentioned as a tonic for the lungs, kidneys, and the nervous system." Please read more at the link below.

Aroma: Fresh, soft, lightly balsamic.

Suggestions: Diffuse or apply topically, properly diluted. Try placing two drops in the palms of your hands, place them over your nose and mouth, and inhale. Add 2 - 4 drops to a drawn bath. Pine oil has been used for sore joints and muscles, and shares many of the same properties of Eucalyptus globulus; blending these oils together is said to enhance the effectiveness of both. Balsam fir needle makes an excellent addition to such a formula.

Blends With: Cedarwood, eucalyptus, juniper, lavender, lemon, and rosemary essential oils.
